2. Description of Service

Claimed is a software platform that helps roofing and restoration contractors manage insurance supplement claims. The platform provides tools for claim organization, document management, and analysis support to help identify potentially missed line items in insurance estimates. All claim reviews, recommendations, and communications with insurance carriers are overseen and approved by a licensed professional. Claimed is a software tool only — it does not independently provide legal, insurance, or public adjusting services.

3. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
Ensuring all information and documents you submit are accurate and that you have authorization to share them
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including any licensing requirements for public adjusting or contractor work
All actions taken through your account

4. Software Assistance & Licensed Oversight

Claimed uses software tools to assist in organizing claim data and identifying potentially missed or undervalued line items in insurance estimates. These tools are aids to — not replacements for — the judgment of a licensed professional. All analysis, recommendations, and outbound communications prepared through the platform are reviewed and approved by a licensed public adjuster before use. Claimed makes no warranty that any software-assisted output is complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular claim or jurisdiction. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any use of the platform complies with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements.

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Claimed to:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent claims or documents
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service

6. Intellectual Property

The Claimed platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Claimed and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload. By uploading content, you grant Claimed a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claimed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
